This is good news and nice to see freq updates on the matter but my only
concern is to why this was all caused to begin with. Isn't here a beta to
test on prior to releasing a patch? I understand the "Apple Secret" way of
doing things as in not saying nothing to nobody to add surprise but if
anything the addition of the initial first (large) patch was a failure. I'd
like to think a upcoming Halloween event patch is setup for next week but
with the way things are going I'd prefer not to sit for hours banging my
head all over again trying to fix servers when I could be enjoying the
playing the game. :)

Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] [hlds] Team Fortress 2 Update Released

We are still working on another update for these crashes. This was primarily
server changes to get something stable that clients can connect to as soon
as we push another client update.

My server seems to stay up and running now, although the clients are still
crashing quite frequently. It's still worse than it was 2 updates ago.

An optional update for Team Fortress 2 is now available. Please run
hldsupdatetool to receive the updates. The specific changes include:

- Fixed a server error about unprecached models
- Fixed a problem where the Sniper Rifle wouldn't damage sticky bombs
