I hate to say this but that's very cryptic answer to the question. Simple yes or no would suffice as me and propably others are just interested will the game improve / get actual updates in the future or does it just lay there and receive engine fixes.

We don't like making statements about the future, even if we are 98% sure of our plans,
because it makes everybody angry if we come up with a better/different idea and end up
breaking the original promise. Valve employees are very unlikely to reply about "the
future" of any particular game. Sorry, that's just how we do things :)

We really do love Counter-Strike. Honest.

Oh well.

Since you are on this list, read the conversation between Kyle and Henry
(from Valve) on this list. It will explain why css is on it's old folder. It
should be within your mailboxes. The topic was "The Premature Death of
Counter-Strike Source"

Yeah, it will just make a symlink linking the new css folder to your old
orange one

oh nice idea,
I'm doing that for materials, models, and sounds files; so it's should
work

Could just create a symlink?

This will prevent crash of CSS because of TF2 update. Like the "kill"
bug
(who crashed css server) when replay cames to TF2
So it's fine now

Yes, simple and true sugestion. Finally I will do so, but then i have
to
change my panel and scripts. Easiest way would be staying with old
structure. Now other games are in orangebox dir, and only css is in

css
:)
What a consistent development, my congratulations to valve developers

:D
Cheers, have a nice weekend :)
Why don't you just rename your folder from orangebox to css? Update
are
faster

Hi,

after last update content of directory orangebox was moved to css.

Is
it
possible to block this and stay in orangebox (old directory
structure).
This
update screwed up all my servers, its crazy idea to change file

location
now!
Does anyone have solution ?
