Yeah I'm with ya here but doesn't excuse the notion that Valve broke something to create this crashing back during the large Xmas update and has yet to be fixed. This and the client HL2 client crash drops are still frequently happening which are on any type of server or any type of map. I've yet to see this addressed or discussed from them in the last 4 weeks. Turning off beach balls is fine (not the point to do a fix) but I've seen the vphysics crash without noting beachball so it could be related to the ball kicking boots from the scout or even baseballs from the scout.
