Yeah I've been talking with MikeS from Valve about this. The next time you get a 100% freeze attach gdb and attempt to get through the code to where it's actually crashing. I had a server freeze recently and got a gdb log and backtrace but didn't attempt to step through any of it. I'm quite green when it comes to doing this so anyone who is better capable should do this the next time their server freezes at 100%.
