You didn't happen to be running in debug mode (-debug in command-line), and 
maybe got a crash-dump file?

I don't see how Valve can really fix this without somebody showing them the 
exact exploit (apparently now a new/different variation), and getting some 
debug files.

I threw some notes in the Git-Hub page for the original issue, indicating that 
it might not be entirely fixed.

There is still something causing a crash related to buildings.

I had 2 crashes after update and logs eng with similar thing:
