I would think in HLStatsX, you could define it as an HL1 "mod". You might have to setup a new icon for it, and I forgot how to enter the mod-specific weapons, but I'm sure there is a way. I seem to recall that I had to do that when I was running HLStatsX to track my Deathmatch Classic (DMC) server, and a couple of copies of "Snow-War" mod I run.
