Yes, extracting DRYML is still very much something we want to do. A  
while back we decided it should have very high priority, but more  
recently we've been focussing much more on getting the whole of Hobo  
to a point where it's ready for wider consumption.

DRYML for Merb is definitely a nice idea and shouldn't be too hard,  
but again it's all a question of priorities.

Before you can answer that you have to have a clearer idea of what  
Hobo actually *is*, when separated from Rails. DRYML by itself is much  
more well defined. It's fairly easy to imagine any template language  
being used with any underlying framework.
