I have a DreamHost account where I have a non-hobo rails app running successfully. I thought deploying a Hobo app wouldn't be any different as long as everything is vendored. I was wrong; I can run dispatch.fcgi from the shell and get correct html however when I use a browser I get internal server errors. DreamHost support spent a few days on the issue but they can't figure out whats wrong either.
Does anyone have their app running on DreamHost or other shared hosting provider? I'd appreciate any tips you may have. Please note that I'm on a Windows machine and not able to use Capistrano. I know I should wipe the machine clean and install some form of Linux and use Capistrano...Maybe that's what I'll do! Cheers!
