hobo_hippy, it sounds like we're fellow hobos in a similar early-stage part of our journey.
I've had to do a lot of source-browsing (and editing) to figure out various things in hobo. Hearkening back to my lisp-machine days, it's really handy to have all the source available and editable. How to make that happen on a so-called "modern" system is not obvious. (I miss my Symbolics workstation every day!) I haven't found the holy grail that adds hyperlinks every function call or tag to its source code, but it has been an okay approximation to use an IDE that has a "project" view and a "search within project" feature. I happen to be using Netbeans 6.7RC2 on win7. Since I have all of hobo installed in my vendor\plugins folder, one keystroke lets me search the entire project (my source and the hobo sources) for things like def tag="table". At times, it's handy to insert calls to logger or debugger in the hobo source, and netbeans+svn is smart enough to know how to undo those changes or revert the files once I'm done. monty On Jun 10, 4:43 pm, Bryan Larsen <[email protected]> wrote: > They're in Rapid: http://cookbook.hobocentral.net/api_taglibs or > hobo/taglibs/rapid_user_pages.dryml > > They use simple-page, which you'll need to get working first. > > Bryan > > hobo_hippy wrote: > > So that worked pretty great, but I found something I missed before in > > my excitement - my login and signup buttons as well as the search bar > > have all gone missing.
