I looked at the app/views/taglibs directory and the only editable file
is
application.dryml

My proceedings with my jQuery approach are thus far:
In application.dryml with jQuery activated thru the hobo jQuery plugin

"<extend tag="page">
   <old-page merge>
       <append-body:>
           <script type="text/javascript">
           $(document).ready(function() {
         $('A.edit-link').append(" bearbeiten");
          $('A.new-link').append(" hinzufügen");
          });
         </script>
       </append-body:>
   </old-page>
</extend> "

"bearbeiten" is  German for "Edit"

Still playing around with the jQuery to get a decent
replace syntax for the english words.

The approach seems a bit hackish, but it should produce results...

Thanx Roland
