The "Hobo Cookbook" logo in the top left corner is an image. Could we
get a volunteer to create an image or two images to replace it? One
image to point to hobocentral.net and another to point to
cookbook.hobocentral.net. The image could say
"cookbook.hobocentral.net" or "Hobo Central: Cookbook" or something even
more cool.
The source for the cookbook is http://github.com/tablatom/hobocookbook
Pull requests are almost always accepted.
I'll add a "download" link in the upper right tab bar to the cookbook,
and then link it from hobocentral.net as well.

Another thought was that when posting a new release, to put a direct
link of where it could be obtained---or how to install with gem at
bottom of release notes (plugin or standalone?)
For the Hobo Users Group, I thought it would be useful to have a link
in the sidebar to:
Hobo Central
Hobo Cookbook
Install Hobo (page with installation instructions on how to
install,
recommended versions of Rails and Ruby)
Hobo Videos
Just some thoughts, since I had gotten feedback today on some
navigation I need to improve on one of my sites.
Oh, and are there any new Hobo Videos in the works?
