I think it would make sense to have a community organizer to help keep Hobo news and so forth up to speed on Twitter or a Facebook page (I actually think that a marketing campaign would be worthwhile in this regard if anyone would like to contact me on heading something like that up who has some funding fingers into Hobo who would be interested in building out the community) so as to both raise awareness and to keep everyone more abreast.
I do like this mailing list and the participants are great folks, but I agree that it's difficult to consume for people perhaps more so than other mediums that have more marketability and readability. Finally, I would throw my 2¢ in that I feel we could stand for a better error reporting system. We do need some serious time invested in having more meaningful errors and stack traces. This, unfortunately, is neither glorious, fun nor profitable per se, but would really help everyone out tremendously... It has to be done at some point. -George On Jul 5, 4:54 pm, Betelgeuse <[email protected]> wrote: > For background why I am asking is that I have been using (and > contributing some patches) for a couple years now but have started to > consider migrating away due to the concerns presented here.
