I wouldn't say that it has a lack of development resources. The only real problem Hob has ever had was simply documentation due to the push of new features and implementation of real world projects that pay the bills. Those who have used it and learned it's ins and outs are extremely productive individuals. Someone with less Rails experience and intermediate Hobo experience seems to be multifold more efficient than seasoned Rails developers with whom I've had the pleasure of working for several years.
Hobo can have a steeper learning curve from being such a robust library / framework. From some discussions going around that I've had here and off the mailing list, it seems that perhaps a different focus on documentation so as to provide a more practical use case / workflow based learning model would be more appropriate for those starting off. So yes, Hobo has been around for a long time and is not disappearing, so please be rest assured that your time invested with Hobo will merit long term fruit. -George On Jul 4, 1:00 pm, Betelgeuse <[email protected]> wrote: > What are the release plans for Hobo 1.3?
