By the way, I'm still waiting for someone to take an interest in writing a
script for me...for pay.  I have not mentioned an amount because I'm not sure
what is fair...you tell me.

The recommended versions of Ruby for Hobo are 1.8.7 and 1.9.2.   Not
1.9.2-head, but the latest 1.9.2 stable.

Hobo 1.0 is better tested on 1.8.7, and 1.3 is better tested on 1.9.2,
although both Hobos have been tested on both rubies.

1.0 is also well tested on JRuby 1.6.

So you should be good.
