Yes. Hobo 1.4 is still at the "some things are broken" stage. If your app is going to be javascript heavy, I recommend starting from this no-prototype branch: http://groups.google.com/group/hobousers/browse_thread/thread/93a7793e28c2efda But otherwise an alpha branch is probably not the best place for a newcomer to start. > How about Ruby 1.8.7.
