Herr Schulz,
I don't know about Germany, but I have been using heroku (San Francisco,
CA) for years with both RoR and Hobo. Works well, and the best part is
their documentation which makes it easy to generate, test and debug
locally, then upload it to their servers for deployment. (Uses git, as
does Hobo).
