Oh boy 3-4 per day - had that . . .

Defence one change your email address as soon as you can
(the viruses are auto sent) usually from a spoofed or false address.

Use Eudora (and turn off the HTML) and Microsoft viewers or use
thunderbird - something other than MS which is the main target (Outlook and
outlook express being the most prevalent programs)

That is for the emails . . .

For the rogue sites . . .
(they use mal code  - of which there is so much LEGITIMATE CODE
that can be used for bad purposes - for example _javascript_ and actionscript
are good languages used on web pages but can be used for example to
run a pop up or redirect you to another site - you click on a button saying
'Close this window'
- in fact this runs another script which starts a download to your computer
- this can happen quickly or in the background . . . - that is the basis

Now - the partial cure
Use a secure browser such as Mozilla or Opera
or a secure Operating system such as Windows 2000
(make sure you update)... so far this I can comply with..now for the really dumb question.. How does one change email address without changing servers???

Cheers and thanks...
