Hi Francis - was looking at this today - decided not to download it
as it is still in alpha testing. Will wait for the beta - did you download
and have a look? It looks VERY interesting and may be related to the Alice Project?

It uses an old friend - Squeak :-)

I also know (I came across it only once) that people are using very interesting
interfaces for Squeak (rather than the default)

I had high hopes for the Seal Project (a visual add on for FreeDos) but they seem to
want
to start again from scratch . . . ah well . . .

I have been (it really is a mess at the moment) working towards
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Computer_Know_How

I have also been trying to download WorldWind from Nasa
(without success - I just dislike .NET and did not let it phone home . . .
so my fault I guess)

It may interest Joyce as it seems to be a satellite scanning facility
looks like fun . . .

Did I mention 20/20?
- should be a link on our freeware page
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Freeware
this is a structured drawing package - very nice very simple (and I have not seen any
ads (think I had it
before and the ads drove me mad . . .)

What else you up to Francis?
Who else has been trying new things?

:-)
