It just took me slightly more than 2 1/2 hours to get
this computer connected to the worldwidewebwob.

What's your personal best?
LOL, it took so long i forgot what i was wanting to
say!
But now winipcfg is my new best friend. For people on
newer operating systems than Win98, i believe winipcfg
is spelled ipconfig... and it's run from a dos box.
Did anyone see the lunar eclipse tonight? Gorgeous
here, and a very bright and shimmery meteorite flashed
from East to West while i was out there. The heavens
have such wondrous toys for us.

PS - With all of these technology adventures, i am
finding it difficult to keep up with my online
commitments, so if i get very quiet for a while,
please be patient with me? The computers at home are
unwell and at work, my new boss - who is wonderful -
has a walking meditation management style... She walks
around a LOT and watches over people's shoulders. I
like to keep a little notepad of positive affirmations
open on my desktop... and she opened it and read it
one day. :)
