i am working on the Peace wiki just as i have from day one.
ts, your experiments with formatting are fine for you to do, but you do not need MY art to do it.
i have had those pages set aside for that all along ...
a place where i can learn to code HTML and work out the bugs.
the page you keep going to and changing is not the PHOTOS page!
ts, the only 'changes' i have made to that page is the removal of my own artworks -- i ONLY touched my own images there, nothing of anyone else's. you do not have the unilateral right to decide what use to make of anyone else's art or words.
Image Garden is a wiki sandbox where i am experimenting with how
to combine pictures and text. i am learning different ways to do
this so i can then offer what i have found to others so they can
have a better idea of what might be done. the idea is to learn
and then make up tutorial pages for other people to reference.
that's what i do there. behind the scenes.
i have found out how to resize photos and how to place them
on the left, center, or right ... and how to put text with
them either on the right or left. that is what i am working
on ... so people can have some choice in how they want to
make up their pages to best show their photos and poetry.
it isn't about tables ... it's about how to use the table
format to place them ... and yet have the table be invisible.
THAT is what i am working on.
isn't that somethng you would be interested in?
a way to better control where the photos and text end up?
i would have thought so but i guess it depends upon
one's priorities.
ts, how a piece of art is used on a page affects the meaning of the piece... by using photos like the magic one in your editing experiment, you removed the magic from it, and so i removed it from the experimenting page.
i CARE how the images are presented and used, maybe you don't understand that, maybe i am too sensitive... there is feeling and energy and meaning to what people have created and to just treat the images as "objects" for your html experiments is something that not all artists would welcome.

does *everybody* want you to resize their art? i put a lot of thought and effort into what size the art that i upload or put on the photo bucket page is. i manipulate the images at several different sizes before settling on the one i feel best communicates what the piece wants to share.
