no one has to ask. you agree by licence with wiki when you upload
that all images can be freely distributed and used.
that is why i put that disclaimer on all the pics i have uploaded ...
that even tho there is a copywrite mark on them ...
they can be freely distributed and used by anyone.
that is part of your agreement with wiki.
wiki accepts a variety of copyrights. i am using Creative Commons and it prohibits modification of the pieces and requires that i retain copyright as author.
ask angela if you don't believe me. she already has some issues
with people not indicating that.

photos? i used the discussion tab to do so ... which i think is
a wonderful way to express appreciation for the art.
i suggested there and here that people do so ...
let the artist know when you like their work.

ts... some people feel that offering comments, either pro or con, can (and sometimes does) influence the direction an artist takes. it is one of those things you learn as a parent, to be careful when commenting on a child's art so as to not interfere.
