We actually need a "critical" bit on the Type value then.

Or some kind of "feature election" within the home? Just the way HNCP now has a kind of voting system for which IGP to choose (which might go away since we only want a single IGP), perhaps we need a mechanism to choose if a feature is used within the home or not. This would only apply to some features that actually need the entire home to support the feature for it to work correctly.
