My take from thursday session was that HCNP wouldn't be used for routing at all. What HCNP would actually be used for would be that the stub device would ask a homenet router (which participates in the routing protocol) to inject/redistribute routes on stub devices' behalf.
So HNCP wouldn't be used as a routing protocol, only configuration protocol.
