I never said I wanted this to be mandated. I have just presumed from discussions in the WG and for instance fro RFC 7368 3.2.2.1 figure 1 and since the issue of "organizing ports" never came up, that this was the way it was supposed to be (and the fact that we've been trying to automate "edge discovery etc"). What is the physical layout of the CER in 3.2.2.1 fig 1?
Does it have 2xWAN ports and 2 blocks of 4xLAN ports and the customer is supposed to know how to connect what to where?
