Hello Hans,

I apologize for the typo; it was late. I knew it wasn't Czechoslovakia
then, but I was too lazy to check out the history. Thank you for
knowing; I thought you would.

The place name on the horn is Teplitz (Teplice).

Hello Carl,
is that horn by A.Meindl from Graslitz ? If so, you should not say
Czechoslovakia (you mispelled it as Czechoslavkia instead of correct
Czechoslovakia from Czech & Slovakia) for some reason:

1. Czechoslovakia did not exist then, as it was The Kingdom of
Bohemia, ruled in personal-union by the Habsburg, Emperor of the
Austrian-Hungarian imperium.

2. Czechoslovakia does not exist any more as it split up into Czech
Republik & Slovakia several years ago.

3. Graslkitz (Kraslice) was inhabitated by the same folks as
Klingenthal & Markneukirchen on the other side of the border (but no
border more) since centuries & was over 80% German.

Double extension on the third slide: Uhlmann in Vienna did such; I
know a Raoux-Millereau & other horns having such.

By the way, the link does not work from my iMAC.

Regards Hans
