These two players are pretty well known in natural horn playing
circles, especially in the Holland/Germany region. Teunis is the
natural horn teacher at the Amsterdam conservatory, and Erwin has been
his regular sidekick for many years. If you like their playing check
out most recordings of the last decade or so of the Freiburger Baroque
Orchestra and wind ensemble Nachtmusique, and probably a few of the
Orchestra of the 18th Century as well.
Teunis can also be heard on the awesome recordings of Zelenka's
orchestral works by "Das Neu-Eroeffnete Orchestre" (copy and paste the
orchestras name in google and amazon will provide a link to the cd's.
Buy all three!)

The orchestra Koelner Akademie is fairly new. They have another
recording of special interest to us: "Chant d'Automne", a CD full of
French and Belgian romantic works for horn and orchestra, containing a
few old favourites like both of Saint-Saens' Romances and some newly
rediscovered works. These are played superbly on a variety of natural
and early valved horns by Ulrich Huebner. But this as well!
