When my appendix was removed with a laparoscopic procedure my surgeon adviced me to not lift anything heavy for several weeks. I'm sure your doctor will tell you the same thing. Playing horn puts a similar pressure on your abdomen, so I'd advice to apply the same period of abstinence to your playing.
