Hi All, I posted this also on the yahoo forum in case there are some that read only one or the other.
I have run across a Jean Baptiste (JB) FH900N double horn. JB is house brand of Sam Ash Music and this model was sold several years ago (not available any more) as the current JB Horns are probably made in China. It is a Kruspe-style nickel-silver fixed bell model that is stamped "(made in) Germany" and plays very well. I suspect that this is a Hoyer 6802 stencil (made by Hoyer for others) and wonder if any one else has seen/heard of this horn and knows anything about it. I know that Hoyer made stencils for others (Allora for WW&BW, Getzen Capri, Dallas Brass?, etc.) as I have an Allora AA301 that is a no-frills Hoyer 801 (came with a Hoyer mouthpiece, Hoyer mech action and adjustable finger hook, stamped "Made in Germany") and plays very well. So, if anyone owns one or knows anything about it, I would appreciate any input.
