I always play the revised notation, after struggling with the rapid intervals the first time I played it. Nobody in the audience knows the difference when playing the revised version, and it is a lot easier to get all the notes. This was especially ture for the time I had to play it on a natural horn for an Ars Musica concert. Regards.
