It's just ear protection. I am never offended when anyone does it and they sit next to me. I had one gig where a Violinist was to my right and he wore earplugs.
I took it as a complement. I used to always have a pair of earplugs in my case for outdoor gigs (and 4th jobs in tiny spaces where I had to be next to a bass drum). -William In a message dated 4/5/2010 9:40:47 P.M. Is it a flute thing, we wouldn't understand? Anyone else seen this? Though Saturday night when we played with "Brave Combo" (they and there speakers were on the stage, we were on the dance floor below them), I could have used the ear plugs. _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/valkhorn%40aol.com _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
