Hi all---another connection, low brass related-- http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/07/arts/music/07sear.html?ref=obituaries Walter Sear, tuba player, tuba designer, helper to Mr. Moog to make the synth more user-friendly, film score guy, and 'old microphone lover' owner of Sear Sound, a WONDERFUL recording studio in NY, where I did quite a bit of work, died recently. Great great guy, many funny stories, played in Philly Orch., I believe in the 50s. Anyone know him, or also work at Sear Sound? Real "renaissance guy," as they say. Will be missed. best tom v
