As I mentioned on this list a while ago, I did it in Eb with a pianist who was able to spontaneously transpose the piano part down one half-step while playing, apparently not hard to do for a good pianist in that key (I wouldn't know). The soprano sounded better one half-step down as well, and of course the horn part is better in Eb than E.
