Hello Peter, I need your assistance to identify a horn player who´s picture has found its way to music antiquar Hans Schneider here. I asked them to make me a scan so to mail to you & perhaps to Norman Schweikert also. The horn player at this photograph seems to be between 30 & 40, more verse 30 than verse 40, has an underbite, holds a Schmidt (Weimar) double with piston change valve, signed the picture on the back in English language on 5.VII.09 (obviously the German way writing the date) with the given name Jos. ?rall (or tt)el (could be Prattel).
Do you have any idea, who could have been this horn player. The picture was taken by photographer Klapper COR.75th St. & 1st Ave. (would read "corner 75th Str. with 1st Ave.") Let me know a.s.a. p., please. Thank you very much. Hope all is well with you.
