It really sounds like something I would like to try. Does anyone in the states carry the stick? I am not haveing much luck contacting them.

Hans claims that using the hornstick improves the most important aspects of brass playing, breathing and air flow. It lessens the strain on your shoulders and back. The only task remaining for the left hand is to balance the horn and keep the mouthpiece in the right place and angle for each situation. The horn can be supported in three different ways 1) Sitting and supporting your horn on the thigh, 2) Sitting and supporting the horn on the chair or on the floor before the chair. 3) Standing and supporting the horn on the floor or with a plastic adapter attached to your belt. I will be receiving a hornstick soon so I would be better able to report on its performance after testing it. I have no commercial interest in this product but have always found Hans to be a very helpful and reliable source of French Horns and accessories. With every best wish to everyone for a wonderful musical 2011.
