Hello Lawrence, now it is cleared. Klaus is right with K466 as K482 has horns in Eb only. The Romanze of K.466 is a very simple horn part in Bb-alto. It is stated such in NMA (New Mozart edition). And the first horn part does not exceed a written e2 = our F-Horn a2.
Answers everything. The other two movements require horns in D. And the trumpets are silent in the Romanze anyway. ###################################################### Am 20.05.2011 um 21:52 schrieb Lawrence Yates: > Very quickly, > > Second movement, Mozart Piano Concerto No. 20 - horns in Bb. > > I think it should be Bb alto but someone has pencilled in basso.
