Herb F wrote Maybe you can show me at IHS in June. I remain to be convinced, though I certainly can't claim to be the arbiter of the horn sound. We all have a different sound in our mind's ear.
At last year's KBHC I got such an exercise from Soren Hermansson. It has helped to get the Bb side closer to the F side. *************** For those of you who can't wait until they go to KHBC next Summer, here is another effective way. Get some wide-grip pliers. (You need to be able to open them up to 2.5 cm or so.) Squeeze down on the pairs of tubes that come out of each rotor. Before I started, the B flat and F sides of my horn were several millimeters apart, but now they are really close. You may need extra-wide pliers if you want to improve your triple this way. Gotta go, Cabbage _______________________________________________ Horn mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/listinfo/horn
