If one plays the whole thing (nearly) exclusively on the Bb-side, no wonder it creates
an endurance problem often. If one plays the hornpart with (as so often heard) "too
much blowing air through the instrument", no wonder again, as endurance becomes
problematic.

Use the F-side, where ever you can, and use the thumb valve (for Bb) as a helping tool
if things become tiring. Play the piece with light singing tone, very relaxed.
Endurance will not be a problem then.

But as so often, people do never try my advise. Let them fall thumb, if they think my
advise being silly. I never had a problem with "Auf dem Strom" nor had I a problem
with "Flying Dutchman" or "Goetterdaemmerung" (whole thing, without assistant off
course). But that is my problem.
