Find a maker (manufacturer) in Germany & learn the craft during 3 1/2 years of apprenticeship. Whast you will receive from your master = just few hundred $$ for living. Be sure, it will not be enough, but you will really learn the craft from polishing over bell making, valve drilling, making small & bigger parts, repair etc.
Be also assured, that these 3 1/2 years will not be enough. Learning will start again & again to become a master. In Central Europe, you will not be allowed to make your own instruments unless you have got the master degree. Otherwise you can work as a repair man only or work with a master.
