Yep - I think the USA website needs updating.  The
main Japan website is more current.  See this page-

       Thank you for your info,
       I contacted the service department and everything is cleared up. The 
OLD 668 is now replaced with the 668II, but they call the 668II, just 668.
       I never knew the 668II model was already 3 years old, I thought it was 
just like a year old.
