I didn't know the post would start such a debate about Yamaha's
manufacturing process.
I bought the horn NEW WITH LAQUER. Its not such a big deal or super
noticeable, I only noticed it when I brought it to school (the white long
florescent lights)? and looked at it closely, I saw it. I never had it relaquered or
anything, just had an ultrasonic cleaning done to it. But that was about 4
weeks ago, and still did not notice the colors. I never polished it with any
kind of cleaner just a microfiber towel and laquer cloth.
I think it was because before I brought it to school I would wipe down
thoroughly after every use. When I just brought it to school last week, I
only wipe it down thoroughly every weekend. Maybe the grease on my hands (they
sweat ALOT and leave ugly grime) made that little effect or something.
