Not everyone knows about this and even if they did, it is still possible for someone who is not familiar with this tool / technique to badly damage their horn. this is quite different than putting your horn in a vise. Sometimes it is necessary to be specific. Remember, Chris, who posted the question said he had only been playing horn for about a week.
