If the report on Lawson is true, it will be sad to see the business close.
But somehow I sense that it will be in good hands once it moves to New
Hampshire.

There is no real rose brass in a 8-D.  The bell tails are made in one piece
and shipped to Chuck Ward.  He cuts the bell tails, installs the rings, and
ships them back to Conn.  They are regular brass with gold colored laquer.
I saw it with my own eyes when I was in his shop.

By the way, have you heard that the Lawsons have sold the business to
Kendall Betts?  He will move the business to New Hampshire.  They are
training apprentices to take over production now.
