You could use SPRY:CHOOSE or maybe even SPRY:IF
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/articles/data_api/apis/attributes.html
Quick and dirty example of spry:choose
<table spry:region="dsIssues">
<tbody spry:repeatchildren="dsIssues" spry:choose="spry:choose">
<tr spry:when="'{STATUSNAME}' == 'COMPLETED'" class="completedclass">
<td>data here</td>
</tr>
<tr spry:when="'{STATUSNAME}' == 'PENDING'" class="pendingclass">
<td>data here</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Hope that helps
