Greetings,

Thanks for the replies all. It sounds like people are signed up on the
different social network sites but no one is really making good use of them.
It just seems to me that there should be some way we could harness all that
tech and put it to good use - helping each other learn, making business
contacts, contributing to the community (both inside and outside the CF
community), growing HouCFUG to being the best CFUG on the planet....

As we're working on the HouCFUG website redesign, would it be worthwhile to
include this type of information on the site? Either in people's user
profiles, or by aggregating feeds from the different social networks to
display on the site, sort of like how we get messages from the mailing list
posted to the site? CFUNITED had a Twitter feed running on the site with
tweets from the attendees. Maybe we could do something similar?

I'd also like to work Ray Camden's cfbloggers code into the new site and
aggregate all the HouCFUG member's posts on the site. We already have links
to member blogs (any others out there that we are missing?) but it would be
easier to check them all in one spot.
