Agreed, I have done my fair share of design work over the years but not once would I ever say it is my strong point because it most certainly takes more effort than the end of the spectrum. I am not even sure without looking if I even mention on my resume my knowledge and/or work experience with things like Photoshop because last thing I want to do is get put into a job that has a stronger focus on the graphics than on the application/database side.
