If you feel you want to go java way, then you have this library called iText which supports barcode 39.
Here are some links for this http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/objects/images/tiff/index.php http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/examples/com/lowagie/examples/objects/images/tiff/Barcodes.java By the way, coldfusion 7 comes with previous/older version of iText. I dont remember which version. Search on google and you will come to know. <Ajas Mohammed /> http://ajashadi.blogspot.com We cannot become what we need to be, remaining what we are. No matter what, find a way. Because thats what winners do. You can't improve what you don't measure. Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
