If you have the time, I would run some tests to see if the existing system can handle it and see where it's getting bogged down. If you encounter performance isues you may be able to remedy them by throttling down the rate and just send out the emails in smaller batches. It may also help in avoiding getting you blacklisted for spamming. -Eddie
