I think GitHub works great for this. I actually did create an houcfug user; 
nothing has been done with it thus far.

Note that git works great for showing off an app step by step: you create a 
separate branch for each step. I did this with my presentation at NCDevCon 
(http://cfml.us/Sg) (I actually stole the idea from Google Angular tutorial: 
http://docs.angularjs.org/tutorial/) 

git clone myrepo
cd myrepo
git checkout step1
git checkout step2
etc …..
