My tests on Oracle show that bulk inserts are much faster going from
0 at 1 row to 100 times faster at 10,000 records.
Inserts for 50,000 records in 3 seconds is quite impressive. Thanks,
that would be useful to me if it works on mssql (yes, i have to use it).
at least the dev work and other systems are linux but the backend db is
still redmond.
