In researching this I came across a Chinese vendor who sells the re-fillable cartridges and says you can readily swap between dye and pigment with a pure water clean between. Their website shows pictures of the setup, with carts holding what is clearly pigment ink. Getting the color right would be an obvious next step. Rather than jumping in and being the first, I asked Vincent Oliver, a beta tester for HP, about this and his response was to "wait for an announcement in June" So, I wait. Mind you, further research has shown me that 30 year life with HP dye inks is achievable anyway. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Home is just a click away.
